Great idea Rae. We are a new chapter in East TN and are looking for ideas for recruitment, fundraisers and speakers. Any idea would be a big help we just chartered our chapter in January of this year. Its been a good year so far, but as I get ready to take the president position I am concerned about where we will go from here. Please share your idea's with the "newbies"!

Ideas for speakers: Remember to use the Leadership Manual that outlines the 5 categories to be sure to cover to get points on the awards program.
Networking, technology, international business, Tax Authority, Property Tax Assessor, President of you Local Association can speak on state of the Association. Toastmasters presenter and how to effectively speak in public.
fundraisers - I loved the idea of the desserts prepared by local chefs and restaurants ideal to implement before the holiday season.
Golf, Tennis, fishing tournaments are ideas that can raise money.
Recruitment from local association of Realtor events, get involved with your leadership team at local association events, take sponsorship opportunities for their installation banquets or annual trade shows.
Other idea includes watching the who's who in papers spotlighting Realtors in the news. send a copy of article with an invitation to WCR!
